One Athlete's Journey with Anthony Washington

Anthony Washington was born and raised in Seattle, Washington, attended Garfield High School, originally attended University of Washington on an athletic scholarship. Played basketball professionally for four years. Returned to University of Washington and received a degree in American Ethnic Studies and a Masters in Education from University of Washington. 2019 Husky 100 recipient. Currently, a Special Education teacher at Garfield High School. Curriculum manager for ACE (Academy for Creating Excellence). Writer, community builder and founder of Thoughts Cost, helping individuals and organizations learn and apply inclusive, empowering ideology in order to improve existing frameworks.
