Dr. Catherine Sabiston is a professor of exercise and health psychology in the Faculty of Kinesiology and Physical Education at the University of Toronto. She also holds a Tier II Canada Research Chair in physical activity and mental health and is the Director of the Mental Health and Physical Activity Research Centre. Dr. Sabiston has received many research and career awards, has held over $20 Million in funding for her research, and has nearly 250 publications. Her current research is focused on improving physical activity services for help-seeking students on post-secondary campuses.

Senior Professor Julie Steele is Founder and Director of both the Biomechanics Research Laboratory and Breast Research Australia (BRA), University of Wollongong, Australia. She will come ready with evidence-based tips on design features of various sports bras and how to choose a sports bra that fits. Not all bras, or bodies, are created equal and spoke with Julie who will share her insights into the unique breast support needs of women participating in sport or physical activity.

Dr. Leigh Signal is an Associate Professor and is portfolio director of the Fatigue Management and Sleep Health group at the Sleep/Wake Research Centre, Massey University, Wellington. Leigh trained as a Commercial Pilot and then completed a Master’s degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology before completing her PhD in Public Health at the Sleep/Wake Research Centre.

Gary Keith is a native of Louisville, Kentucky. Gary joined the US Navy in 1989 and retired in 2015 while serving as a Naval Aviator, qualified as Helicopter Aircraft Commander in the CH-46 and MH-60S. His endurance resume includes mountaineering in North and South America, various distance ultramarathons, numerous marathons and half marathons (2:59 marathon PR / 2017 Bozeman Half Marathon first-place), various distance triathlons and member of the 2012 Team USA triathlon team.

Played basketball professionally for four years. Returned to University of Washington and received a degree in American Ethnic Studies and a Masters in Education from University of Washington. 2019 Husky 100 recipient. Currently, a Special Education teacher at Garfield High School. Curriculum manager for ACE (Academy for Creating Excellence). Dr. Terry Anne Scott is the Directory of African American Studies and Associate Professor of American History at Hood College in Frederick Maryland. She is the editor of the recently published anthology Seattle Sports: Play, Identity and the Pursuit of Credibility in the Emerald City from the Bed-Stuy Hall of Fame:The Unexpected Life of Lenny Wilkens.
